September Thoughts.
Church, we must live in the Spirit! Not everything supernatural is God. The devil will set you up, but if you live in the Spirit, He will let you know.
Romans 8:14 says, "...the ones led by the Spirit are sons of God..."
The only cure for material and natural problems is the Spirit. According to I Peter 5:8, "...the devil is...seeking whom he may devour". But, he can't without your agreement! Meditate on and believe in God.
If the doctor says you're ill, you believe it. So when God says you're healed, why don't you believe that? You must trust in God. In Ephesians 6:12, Paul wrote that we wrestle with the powers and rulers of darkness. Satan cannot rule the church or believers. He just can't.
James 3:15 tells us there is a wisdom on earth that is from the devil. Familiar and demonic spirits operate in churches often. I Timothy 4:1 relates that some will departe from the battle. But, greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world!
It seems the church is so concerned with feelings and offenses that we deny God's power. We must worship in spirit and in truth, according to John 4:24, or we will not worship at all.
How can we be wise? Proverbs 13:20 tells us, 'he that walks with wise men is wise.' We have to choose the wise people we allow into our life. If we follow truth we will live a life of joy.
